That’s my experience too. Solar panel is just too small. You need several days of direct sun to charge the batt on the one I had.

But does the video tell how to regulate potato voltage?
Or how to wire up spud micro-USBs?
Keep an eye out for that, OK..?

I had two accessory sockets. Just wired one hot all the time. You can add simple off the shelf ones on the cheap. KISS. Keep it simple stupid.

I know John61's always recommending BlueSea products, and I feel the same way about them. Everything I've used from them has been good to go. If I were looking for quality USB sockets/outlets/whatever, that's what I'd use. Not to say there's not other good stuff out there.

Yes very reliable maker.
Marine-quality gear is generally much more consistent than in the automotive and RV world.
Power Products owns them now, an investment company been buying up other great brands lately: Ancor, BEP, Marinco, Mastervolt, Progressive Industries, and ProMariner.
Recently consolidated into Brunswick.
Victron is still independent, not sure about Magnum.
