Battery Gauge ticking sound when idling

Hey all,

When the bus is idling, I hear a small ticking sound that I've noticed matches a small quiver in the Battery Gauge. Has anyone ever run into this? Is this normal?

Below is a link to a video showing the sound.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

Do you have a "one wire" alternator?

I have heard that they pause charging periodically in order to sense battery voltage.

Any charging system guru's out there with more info??

Hmmm, I honestly have no idea about the one wire part. I don't see any major issues with it as far as running but any light shed on it for piece of mind would be awesome.
