Camera and bus monitor

I removed the dash mounted system that ran the camera setup. Cameras were removed before i bought the bus. How 'wired in' is this thing? Will i get other problems?

It has a serial port connector with a lot of wires to where?

I'm just about to remove the wires from my system. They do connect to the electrical grid, but they're not something that will cause a system breakdown if they aren't connected... as far as I can tell. I also have an older bus though, so I can't really say for sure. I'm going to tear into mine this weekend and hope for the best. I'll always be able to reconnect them if necessary. Speaking of which, mine are very easy to take out. Best of luck with yours!

I hacked out my remaining video equipment wiring with no reprocussions. Mine was pretty clearly not a factory item.

Well, it depends upon how much coffee it consumes......

Seriously, that system is usually independent of the other electrical systems except for the power connection. The exceptions are the new buses they are producing today. Those systems are integrated with the rest of the bus. *AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!!!!*
