Full Inverter/Charge kit to buy??

Hey folks- first post here. Does someone offer a full kit to purchase (inverter, leads, switches, shoreline hookup, alternator hookup etc.) for charging battery bank to power AC/DC? First time conversion here and I'm looking for something simple to get started with. Thanks!

I built a setup like that using an Aims pure sine wave inverter/charger/transfer switch as the hub.

From there I just bought the shore power inlet, a voltage sensitive relay for charging from the alternator, and the wires, breakers, and batteries.

Not that I'm aware of but I was wrong one other time.

It seems we kinda hate to admit it but a conversion is not a simple thing - certainly not a "full" conversion to a livable RV style rig. Of course, it isn't rocket science either - just stuff that many folks have never messed with before. The electrical system is one of the areas that tends to give folks problems. In my opinion, it requires a lot of decisions, a big learning curve, an actual plan/design, and far more research/study that many want to give it. However; this knowledge is valuable (I'd even suggest essential) for then living with the conversion.

So... start studying and asking questions.

Thanks for the replies! I know there’s no “easy button”, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something simple.

I bought one of those red easy buttons and I think mine was inoperable on receipt. At least it didn't work as I expected.

There is a product - not sure who makes it or what it's called - that is basically an AC/DC power panel. It includes 110VAC breakers and 12VDC fuse panel. Maybe more, I'm not sure. I think it is used in the smaller RV's. Certainly not everything you listed originally but might be a starting point??

Something like this but I have no idea if this is a good one or commonly used - just the first thing to pop up in a search.

It is generally called an RV power converter. I had one I recovered from a wrecked trailer but sold it. For the right build though they are convenient.

Wait a min JD! I happen to be pursuing a career as a rocket science demonstrator. Like when u take 2 same size cut boxes at aldis - cram one inside the other and now have a full box! These and other smurfisms are available upon request. No it's not rocket science. There are a few folks who manufacture power distribution panels for a.c. & D.C. also with or without shore power converters and coach battery chargers. I'm still shopping for mine. But I've looked at progressive dynamics, parralax, and Atwood. Start with those and have about $400 to toss in the yellow metal bin that You're throwing money into.
