Harbor Freight 100w Solar Panel Question
Hi All,
By some freak coincidence I managed to score 2 of these for pennies on the dollar.
https://www.harborfreight.com/100-Wa...Kit-63585.html
Anyone know if we can tie these into a Renogy Wanderer 30A PWM charger?
I was thinking of eventually expanding to 4 100w panels but since I just got these I wanted to see if I could push 400w using the 2x renogy 100w and these 8x 25 watt panels when at camp. The connectors, however, are not MC4, they are SAE. I was considering using these:

Please advise.

Looks like those will work on those panels. What did you give for the panels?

Note that operating characteristics of solar panels can vary. If you expand your system in the future make sure the voltage specs are the same.

I had one of these kits. The wiring used for these panels is reeeeeally tiny compared to the average panel (any size) with MC4 connectors. You may want to consider isolating them on their own charge controller... IIRC the Renogy panels push 8A-9.6A in full sun.

I agree with the post above, you can have multiple controllers in the system. Get a $16 Pwm controller from amazon for these two and use much larger wires for your other panel acquisitions.

Was this from the big HF sale last weekend? I meant to go, $10 a pop for solar panels is pretty good.

I know one thing, if they had that sale when I was there, no one else would get one. I'd find a use for them at that price.
