On my ambulance conversion, it was simpler, and faster to just gut ALL the wires to the rear and re wire the entire thing. Also 100+lbs lighter in the end. Allowed me to draw my own diagrams, and NEVER NOT KNOW what wire went where. Not all mechanics do repairs the same. Many times they splice, tap, or just re run new circuits with no notation to any schematics. I rather start from scratch.
