MK Deep Cycle 12v wheel chair battery question

Does anyone know if I can use 12 Volt 60 Amp Hour Heavy Duty Deep Cycle Batteries for my house battery. If so how many do I need for a 50 am system in the bus?

Any 12 volt deep cycle should work fine as a house battery.

A 50 amp DC battery bank is pretty small. Are you asking about a 50 amp AC electrical system?

Thanks for the reply, sorry my house electrical is a 50 amp AC system. So I need to know how many batteries I would need to run it? I have regular house refrigerator, microwave, tv, dvd, and electronics the grand kids bring with. The lighting is DC.

You're going to need a big battery bank for that.

Add up all the amps you'll need per day then build a battery bank twice that size (for decent battery life you shouldn't draw them down more than 50% between charges).

You'll also need a large inverter and a way to charge the batteries.

Will you be mainly in campgrounds boondocking?
