New batteries

I recently bought my bus about a month ago to convert. It has the IH 444E engine. Well it finally reached into the 30's at night here and the batteries can't keep up with the cold and died. I was looking for suggestions on batteries for a very cold climate, before running out and throwing away money. Thought some of experience and knowledge would help me get the right set. Thanks!

Plain and simple, get a couple 8D's. Whats in it now?

Can you ever have too many CCA?

There are two 1000/1250's in it. Figured that the CCA were ok but was more curious about brands to avoid one ones to lean to.

I may not be 100% right on this but I think there are 3-4 major battery manufactures so a lot of them are from the same people and not know it. My deal has always been to use MAXX batteries from walmart. They have a 3 year replacement warranty that is direct exchange. I make sure the "fail" to ensure they will always be in warranty so kind of a one time purchase.

And cold to me is -30. All depends where you live and travel.
