police heavy duty battery pack

i wonder if something like this might work as a battery bank. it is designed so police vehicles can run all their emergency equipment for 4 to 6 hours.

Re: police heavy duty battery pack

Great ....... if it works///
You will need to upgrade your alternator. The police vehicles have a 220 amp alternator to maintain the battery pack..... Most buses alternators are in the 140 - 160 amp range.

Just so you know!!!!
