speaker static

i dont know much about speakers or car stereos. i have a problem in my bus. most the rear speakers are just kind of popping/low volume/nothing. the front 2 speakers work fine. i have verified all the speakers work fine by plugging them into the front 2 speakers wiring. whats the deal anyone know?

wires shorting out?

I had similar problems way back when in my car. In my case it turns out the speaker wires were shorting out. Try tracing the wires from the speakers to the radio, or better yet, install new ones.
