Hi all, I am at a crossroads with making a final decision on which inverter I will be using in my setup and had a quick question regarding hardwiring to a subpanel from an inverter which has an outlet as the AC Output.
I am specifically looking at this inverter from Victron:

The inverter has a female Nema 15-5R plug for the AC out.
I called a well known inverter store and spoke with someone about hardwiring the inverter to a subpanel. I was told it is acceptable and common practice to put a three prong male plug on the end of your AC cable to the subpanel so that you can plug the subpanel directly into the receptacle on the inverter.
I don't see why this would be an issue, but wanted to throw it out there and hopefully get some feedback from someone who is not trying to sell me an inverter.
