Volta Power Systems?

Anyone heard of or use this company for electrical system before?

https://voltapowersystems.com

It sounds like you get to spend extra for a neat package and support...not sure it's worth it, but thought I'd hear what y'all have to say. Called for a quote from a 'retrofitting partner' just now...waiting for a call back.

Curious on the cost of that system and the service they offer.

I already have 3KW of li-ion, can monitor all my battery and charging parameters , and have an arduino controller to interface everything over bluetooth to an app.

The DC driven A/C compressor that ties into your vehicles existing A/C system without having to run the engine is sweet though.
I'm trying to get that figured out with an old washingmachine motor and freewheel from my mountain bike wleded to the clutch of the A/C compressor.

It would work like this

A/C from engine, when running, Clutch engaged, washingmachine motor stationary.

Engine stopped, A/C clutch disengaged (belt not turning), washingmachine motor running, power transferred through freewheel, A/C blowing cold.

Yeah, it all sounds like they've got a slick system that just won't help me...

Hi jsneeb.. That is the same system I am working on.
I used a 36v DC motor from a floor scrubber. I think there is good potential there.
Let me know how you make out.
