Wagan Inverter

What can anyone tell me about Wagan Inverters? I managed to score a 5000 watt Wagan Pro inverter at an auction the other day. Don't have a clue if they are any good or not.

They are awesome! I have a 10000 watt 4 wire in my truck (diesel) and it can power an entire building! Wagan has great customer service as well. If you ever have an issue with it call them up, give them the model number and they will walk you through anything you need. They will also send replacement cables and some accessories free of charge. Great folks to work with! Hope it works well for you! Enjoy and congrats on a great find!

I wish I had more info for you but I purchased a 5000 watt MSW based on good Internet reviews. I have it sitting here and it "LOOKS" good - haven't wired it up or used it yet.

It's kinda funny. I've been an electrician since 1975 (yeah I'm old as dirt) and I couldn't tell you the first thing about an inverter. I scored two 5000 watt Wagans for $50.00. I was just going on gut feeling. I'm gonna wire the bus for boondocking but I will be surprised if I really do any boondocking. (better safe than sorry.)

JDontheGo: I know what you mean. I have tools still in the package that I've never used. Seem like the thing to do........ eventually !!
