Unhappy Wiring in Magnetic LED Brake/Turn Lamps - Crashed the Whole Right Side of the Bus

In the 2004 IC 3000 buses, they run separate circuits for Left and Right Stop and Running Lamps - also on those circuits are the left side and right side dome lights. They are resettable circuit breakers instead of fuses ! The only problem is - the circuit breaker isn't tripped. Bypassed it - still no lights. It's not the cb ... so what the $%^&^%? Checked grounds - all solid. Reverse installed the LED kit - still no right side brake or run or dome lights. I'm a Navy trained Nuclear Power rated Electronic Technician which I followed with 10 years of electronic manufacturing of medical instruments and hybrid microcircuits ... but I'm stumped by this skoolie!

That's the problem! You're a back-aft ETR, not an up-front ETN.

Squids ...

can't live with 'em ... can't learn to swim

Well Cap ... for the moment I just ran a bridge wire so that the right brake/run light gets lit by the left. Since the district had kindly converted the brake/park's to LEDs there's no reason that should overload the left's 20 A circuit. It's poor engineering but I can't find the real issue yet ... I'm stepping away from it

Obviously, I rode the boats (SSBN-659) in the NavCtr. I was also qualified QMOW.

What an interesting boat. I never knew they made a Will Rodgers. My last station was aboard CVA-61 Ranger. As QMOW you must have uncanny situational awareness in 3 dimensional spaces ... a rare gift!

Only one and she was turned into razor blades a long time ago. Our CO (Gold Crew) got to four-stripes but never got a fat stripe because he made some statements that kinda screwed his career.

This is probably far too simple but I'll ask anyway... Since LED's are polarity sensitive, any chance that it is backwards??

Do you have continuity in those wires you are sorting out? Any voltage there without bypassing it?

Good question ... there seems to be 8 volts on a black wire sticking out of the hole where the right side tag light was cannibalized. I dont even know what circuit those are on
