So it gets a sh1tty review??? $2K price tag?

Looks like it vacuum seals the waste to keep the smell down. A second Homer storage pail could hold several "finished" bags for disposal at one's leisure.
Better than a natures head, (or a copycat home made variant), from a smell and overall time, peat moss storage and handling standpoint, and no black water tank to fool with.
Sounds like a potential winner to me?

Looks like a poorly-executed copycat of the Laveo Dry Flush toilet. Check it out, Pete. If you like this you should dig really dig the Laveo.

I like the Laveo. I don't like this so much. For one there's color. Two, the height. Three...

I once had a camp toilet with aluminum legs collapse on me. It was not a pretty sight. Nor smell.
