Re: Installing Tanks without Welding

All of my water tanks are inside the bus, this also helps against freezing if I am using the bus in the winter. If you want to put them under the bus you can use some straps around them that you bolt to the frame.

Re: Installing Tanks without Welding

I am planning on mounting my freshwater tank inside the bus under a bench or couch, or wherever seems convenient with my final layout. The wastewater tank(s) are going under the bus to avoid drainage problems, plus it is easier to mount the toilet directly over the blackwater tank and let gravity do its thing. I have seen installs using angle iron and threaded rods. I can't remember whose install it was, but hopefully someone remembers and can point us in the right direction.

I think it was Jake von Slatt's skoolie. I think he has photos in the gallery, but if you can't find it there, google Jake von Slatt. He also did a nice youtube video.
