Looking at some tanks

I am CListing some tanks and wondering from some more experianced RV'ers what they think of these.

Material is what I am most concerned about i guess. I have heard some is really hard to repair.

here are the listings.

Please dont steal these from me.

Re: Looking at some tanks

some materials are harder to fix, but i use both kinds of those tanks, and just make entrance holes where i want them.

Re: Looking at some tanks

I am going to try to have a look at them sometime soon. I think they may work out well for my plans.

Just wondering what others think of them. There sure are alot of holes in that grey tank. Wonder why so many?

Thank
Tony

Re: Looking at some tanks

Fresh water has vent, fill and out holes.
The black looks like:big hole on top toilet, big vent on top(2in?)....big hole on end(bottom) is drain...3holes on end mabye level sending units.
As long as they are tapped any of the small holes can be "plugged"

Also extra small holes in black tank opposite drain could be spray down vents(to wash out goop)
