I also pulled my head out of my ass and realized there is no built in regulator. So it's just junk.

Re: Any propane stove experts?

I found this little clip on the burner tube. Any idea what is the purpose of that hole and a removable clip? And weather or not the clip should be touching the hold? 1 burner is missing the clip and the other the clip isn't covering the hole but it isn't in the same spot either.

I believe those clips are used to adjust the flame. Covering the opening lets in less combustion air, uncovering it lets in more air. You're looking for a nice, blue flame.

Instead of trashing the thing I'd look for a blockage in that supply tube connecting to the safety valve or junk in the safety valve itself.

Re: Any propane stove experts?

I did a thorough cleaning and it doesn't work much better, I did find that if the 3 spray nozzles to the burners, 1 is dirtier than the others and it has a much lower flame. I'm going to find some new nozzles at an appliance store and try that.
