Is anyone familiar with this? It sounds way too good to be true but I have seen them around for a couple of years, so they can't be a complete scam...or can they?

Looks similar to Reflectix

If it were of any real value for **insulation**

as opposed to as a vapour barrier or preventing entry of radiant heat

then there would be a published R-value rating and verifying third-party reports
