Mounting Suburban Furnace

My plan is to mount the SF-35 LP Suburban furnace under the kitchen counter and flush with the outer bus skin and install an exterior access door. I was thinking of running some ducts underneath the counter also and just have some small registers on the very bottom of the cabinet face where it meets the floor.

I would probably have 2 cabinet doors that would open for access to the front of the furnace and the rear would be accessed from the outside door.

I was just wondering if the return air (not intake. That comes from outside) would be affected. My cabinets are going to be 10 feet long.

Has anyone else done something similar?

We custom built a plenum and ducted our Suburban in the Class C. Didn't affect the performance at all, except to spread the warm are out a lot better. Used standard vent covers just big enough to fit in the toe kick area under the fridge area (front and side). All air is pulled from outside, non from inside. We have an older Suburban (24 series).

Smitty, the ducts are 4" and I believe I can get some round 4" registers from RV Surplus.

I think what I might need to do is have a cutout in the kickpanel to allow for return air.
