Roof air unit mounting

Since I am sure someone has done it, what do you need to do to mount a roof air on a curved school bus roof, just got one off my friends totaled camper trailer

They like a flat mounting hole.

You can make one by building up the sides with thin strips of ply that can be encased in the sealing material.

The will tolerate some curve in the mounting surface.

You will want a new seal/gasket on the bottom. The seal is around 1/2" thick and will form to the roof line as you tighten the mounting bolts.
