Roof Emergency Exit for AC

Is it ok for me to install AC through the roof emergency exit? Thanks a lot.

I LOVE deleting roof hatches. They leak and generally are crap anyhow.
Here's me paneling over the roof hatch on one of my buses.




I'll be installing rv roof vents, but you could put an ac up there.

It has been done plenty. Need to remove what's there, add a panel and cut a 14"x14" opening.
