After 2 years I finally got my bus!

Hello all,
Today I finally found the bus I've been looking for for 2 years!!! My new child is a 1989 bluebird flatnose activity bus with the 12v 5.9 Cummins turbo with 150k miles. Did I mention I scored this thing for $1700 - 30 minutes from my house? Has 6 large underbelly compartments so no fab work underneath (tanks and such) and tons of storage for "man stuff"this was my #1 requirement for a skoolie. Please get familiar with my name as I am sure I will be blowing up the forums with tons of new guy questions in the upcoming weeks.

Where abouts are you?

I have a '93 that has become a spare parts donor. Let me know if you need anything.
The only thing that I don't have right now is the drivers window.
(and the AT545 that I smoked)

I'm in good ole' Alabama. Hopefully I won't need any parts for her. She runs like a top but there are a few items (engine wise) I'm gonna fresh'n up. All new fuel lines along with pump and filters. A complete service on all fluids (Engine tranny and gears). But if I do I'll hit you up for sure.

One thing to be mindful of:

We drove the '93 (mechanical 5.9) for 3 years, and twice when getting her out of storage for the spring had to replace the fuel pump because the rubber had dried out. If she's going to sit for a while, make sure to start her regularly to keep things lubricated. Not that the pump was hard to find, expensive, or difficult to replace. (a bit of a knuckle buster is all)

Absolutely! Thanks for the advise... That's one of the reasons I'm going to change it just because I don't know how long its really been sitting.
