I'm from Juneau, but I'm spending the fall (and perhaps the winter, looking at the weather predicted for Southeast this winter) in Wisconsin so that I have easier and cheaper access to materials while I do my conversion. I can't even begin to tell you how much cheaper materials are here than in Alaska. :/
