Cool Aspiring Skoolie from Atlanta

Just a quick intro! My wife and I are aspiring Skoolies. I’ve been researching and reading all about vanlife/skoolies for quite some time and finances and timing are finally starting to come together for us to take a leap.

Our the next few months we’ll be on the search for ideally a vintage-ish short bus for our build. Not rushing but waiting on the right opportunity to come about. Would love any info or advice from others that went the vintage route (talking around the 70’s) and what to look out for and what to avoid.

Welcome

Look out for rust and unobtanium parts.
