Beep Beep

Picked up a 1982 Carpenter Cadet CV this week after about a year of searching. Tiny little thing, but she's cute. No name yet, I'm sure one will occur to me. Intending on renovating her into a micro-home. Yes, she's a she.

Met my week one goal of pulling out all the seats. Breaking it down into weekly steps to preserve my sanity while I worry about how to fit my whole life into approximately 120sf. There needs to be a word for excitement mixed with fear. (:

Week 2: Install battery, paint over school bus signs, fix lights
Week 3: Titled and flooring replaced
Week 4: Framing
and onwards...

Ooh, apprehensive is good. Cautiously optimistic might be a good fit.

The thought of naming my bus after myself absolutely tickles me pink. You may have just christened her.

Thanks!
