Brand spankin new

I'm brand new to this community. I've been thinking for a few years about the possibilities of my own converted home and I finally feel like I'm in a place where I can start this project. I've done quite a bit of my own reasearch but anything helps! Like things you wish you knew, helpful websites, pros and cons, best place to start, costs, etc.

Also see what insurance is available in your area and, most importantly, you have a place to store and/or work on it during conversion
