Buying One Tomorrow

Hey Guys,

Brand new to the site and to the skoolie scene. I’ve been watching a ton of YouTube videos and lurking around here. I finally decided to pull the trigger. I’m going tomorrow to pick it up. Thought I’d get some feedback before cash passes hands. The bus is a 95 bluebird flat nose. It was a military bus and then a church bought it from a dealer. I was told the maintence has been kept up on it. No proof though.
They had it listed for $5k. I offered $2500 and they accepted. The bus has 198k on it and has the Cummins engine. I feel like it’s a good fit for what i want. My first question is. Do you guys have any pointers on what all i should checkout before money changes hands. I do know that it’ll need tires at some point soon. 2nd question and this is just a curious thing, can you guys look at it and tell how tall the inside is?

Thanks. I was hoping for a taller one!😂. Praying since it was originally for grown folks in the military. Guess time will only tell. I’m 6’ with flooring put in mine my head almost touches the rivets in the ceiling.

I thought so. I’ve seen a lot worse for more money.
