Completely Inexperienced but determined family - Ex S. Australian 1987 Hino Skoolie

Hey everyone,
I'm Nimmy, and me and my Partner Em have bought a big yellow skoolie a couple of weeks ago, seats already out, yay!
we are 28 and havea 2.5yr old baby son and another one on the way.
hoping to live and travel in our bus for atleast a year at first.
So as far as any construction experience we are both pretty on none,
same with plumbing and electricity. I'm a bit handy and have had experience servicing tanks as a sgt. in the IDF....I guess they were diesel as well,

I'll try to get an active picture diary here somewhere, ill find the right section probably and would love to get in touch with anyone from Oz who's doing something similiar (We're around Melbourne).

just
saying hi and will try to get some files and pics up
If there are any good places to start reading about or watching helpful information about plumbing\wiring a bus that would be great
I'm also looking into installing a sun roof or making somesort of extra "hatch" and wouldn't know where to start looking into that.
