Done Lurking

Hey my name is Bernie and after a year of lurking we finally made the plunge and bought a bus to start converting. I'm sure I will have a ton of questions to ask and advice to acquire. For starters we live in Ontario so we had a tough time finding a decent bus but finally found a 2003 Freightline Thomas with just over 200,000 on a Mercedes diesel engine and Allison transmission. I have only just started to take the seats out and have it booked in to sandblast the frame and repaint. After all that the fun should start. Are there many other Skoolies in Ontario I have not found to many so far as the insurance is a pain in the A$$. Well I guess that's it for now but thanks in advance for all the answers I will inevitably need.

I found some but it took like 14 calls and a friend at the ministry. All done now and no longer 400 bucks a month to insure.
