Ello, Ello... New member here .

Good day all,

Just found Skoolie.net - I am converting and restoring a 1969 international Loadstar 1600 29 passenger school bus - Body is a Superior, used to be a military bus.

I am looking forward to learning a great deal of the bus tricks and lessons learned. My present issue is to make new hinges and keep the school bus door or convert to a solid door or other option, I welcome ideas and thoughts on this.

Thank you.

I;m keeping my "bus door" fully functional. I'll be adding a wall a couple feet behind the driver with a good door/entry.
best of luck.

Lorna converted her bus door to a solid rv type door. You can search for her thread or look under her build thread, bus name Compass Rose.
