Finally bought a bus!

After a few years of dreaming of skoolies, we finally took the plunge. We had been leisurely looking and had almost given up since winter is not to far off. Thought we'd just pick back up in the spring looking again. Then we came across a 2000 Amtran 3800 with the International T444E Diesel school bus almost 5 hours away from us for 1800$. Went down to look at her last weekend with the thought that there must be something majorly wrong, excited to say we ended up driving her home! Not the bus we had thought we wanted but couldn't pass on her.

We look forward to using this site as a resource as we go forward with our skoolie dreams! Im sure we will have many questions along the way.

Congrats! That sounds like a good deal. Good luck with the build!
