First time conversion!

Greetings all! I've been a lurker here for a few months and have gained invaluable help on our conversion of Joon.

Our goal was to do a budget friendly conversion for a late summer/fall adventure. We probably paid a little too much for our bus and probably could have gotten a better model in hindsight, but she was in the same town so we jumped in.

Lots of learning has ensued! We are 3 months in and still working on it. We've come a long way, plenty more still to go!

1999 Amtran RE, 39', T444E, AT545

We have the bed, outside and inside paint, couch, love seat, kitchen, composting toilet and cooler set up and are currently living in her while we finish the plumbing and stove installation along with some engine work.

On the to do list are:

Coach:
Water tank, pump and pex lines
Tankless water heater and propane lines
Propane countertop range
Power center (lines and plugs installed)

Engine:
New cold air cooler installed
Oil change
Trans fluid change
Fan clutch
Thermostat
Water pump

If I can figure out how to post pics I'll do when I get some time. Just saying hey and thanks for all the tips! If you've done any of the above projects and feel like sharing pointers I'm more than happy to listen!

Welcome aboard, sounds like you got a good bit of work done in a few short months! I can't speak to the engine work or the propane, but....for us at least....the power and plumbing were surprisingly simple. The pex was simple, the drains were a PITA but mostly due to space constraints. Seems to be one of those "you learn as you go" kinda things.
