I decided not to insulate the bus - and I don’t see it as a mistake - just a preference. My bus heats up because of the windows more than the sheet metal. Which is great during cold times, but a little more challenging in the heat and humidity.
Heating or cooling a bus is part of the joy of living in it.

Agreed. It's part of the adventure. There's room to add insulation behind the walls if things don't work out. We aren't too concerned.

We also aren't going to be living in our bus full-time. Only in-season weekend getaways and the occasional 1-2 week vacation. Our intention is to use the bus as a fun/cheaper alternative to purchasing an already built ClassA RV.
