FSFR1 signing on...

We just bought a 2003 International Mini School Bus, we purchased it with 169k miles 11k hrs, bomber WC lift and 3 WC stations for $4200.00. Our daughter was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in 2013. We started a 501(c)(3) to raise awareness and raise funds for research.

We have plans to fully convert and are actually living aboard her/him? now...we have a king mattress, a few dressers and a composting toilet. I am collecting materials daily and will upload more when we are "plugged in" again.

So it's a full bus with the 5 of us...(we also have a 10 week old Son and a yellow labrador). It's been a struggle to find a place to park the beauty, but we have managed to bounce around fairly easily. We do need to find full time parking for the winter and a place to work on the conversion...

Frankie is 6, our intention is to give her the gift of nature and wildlife. We will be living in a 200sq ft cabin this winter. I am still going through the heating options for the bus. The wood stove in the cabin will save our bums...

I have had a tough time uploading photos to this site, is it better to use links in forum threads?

Thanks for having such an awesome site prepared for us out here "braving the bus"...what an awesome reason to plug in!

Help?

We are having no luck finding a place for the school bus. We would like to find a site for the winter where we can plug in for heat. I have alot of materials to work on the inside and need cover (pole building) if possible. Does anyone here know of a nice family that may have room for our bus? We are committed to converting and living on this 32 foot beauty...still yellow...
