Getting Started

Hello everyone! New member, and I'm very excited to be here. My names Josh and I'm currently a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard as well as a full-time college student whose working towards my bachelors degree. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm very much looking forward to learning anything and everything I can about buying and converting used school buses. Although I currently do not have a skoolie myself I am planning on purchasing a somewhat older school bus for conversion once I graduate college and finish my contract with the military (which should hopefully be around 2018 so long as everything goes as planned). Until then I'm just saving my money for the big buy, and getting in as much research and knowledge as I can beforehand. However, the long term goal is to buy, convert, and travel across the country in my future school bus. So please, if you have any tips/advice for beginners just starting out that you would be willing to share it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
