Greetings and Feedback Desired, Please

Hello!

I am an Illinoisan looking to purchase a mini school bus to convert into a living space for a cross country national park trip. I am new to the community but have thought about doing this project for some time now.

I came across a posting for a 2007 3500 Chevy Express mini bus. The only information I have is it is an 8 cylinder, automatic, gas powered, rear wheel drive former school bus. They are asking between $2500 and $3500. For some reason the photos won't load but the body appears to be in good condition.

I am hoping for advice from those out there who might be able to share their knowledge on if this model will be a good fit for my planned trip (across country, in the mountains and lowlands, during both winter and summer). Also, as it relates to this model and/or in general, what should I be on the lookout for when it comes to possible drawbacks?

Any and all advice is appreciated and thank you for making me a part of the community!

Hello and welcome! Please share the posting; maybe we can see the pictures and make some informed comments. Or, maybe we'll continue being our own juvenile selves; you never know.
