Greetings from Buffalo, NY

Hi everyone. I’m currently in between Skoolies, but hoping to change that in the next few weeks. I have one child, 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 guinea pigs who will be traveling with me.

Our previous bus was a short bus, 2007 Chevy with 5 windows. It was roughly set up for camping by previous owner and we pretty much left it that way. This time we need a little more room because we are going to go full time.

I’m disabled and my goal for Skoolie life is to see the country and have my kid’s childhood be more than me sleeping all the time.

Going to look at a bus soon with hopes it is the one.

Hello friend! We are located in rochester! Send me a pm if you want to chat or come see our full size bus.

Sounds like you had some good memories with your first bus.

Conversions are obviously a physical process and require a good amount of work. Even if they are intended as "summer chasers". You mentioned you had a disability. That's they only reason I mention it.

Best of luck bus shopping! Is a lift a requirement for you?

I found a bus that’s already gutted and pretty rust free. It’s a drive, but worth it to save all that energy.

Our short term plan will be to use furniture we have and sort of “rough it” while I save money, pay down debt, and we figure out our best layout.

We’d love to come see your build! Always love meeting new people who get it.

Make sure you fasten down all those home furnishing really good before you drive it around! And appropriate seating for the little one too!
