Smile Guess I ought to introduce...

Hi--my name is Deanna, and our '87 Crown Coach tandem is named Anna.
I have been fortunate to have been around buses and the industry almost
50 years, having worked as a driver, mechanic, dispatcher, instructor and
for a brief period, a general manager and finally a director of transportation. I have driven many types of buses, including school, charter and transit buses in revenue service, and private coaches of all descriptions and sizes. My faves are Crowns and Gilligs, which I believe to be some of the most well-constructed, safest, and most incredibly driveable buses ever built. I have driven both extensively, and would have one of each were the resources and time available.
Anna is slated to become a communications platform/RV, and has been initially outfitted for her task. Much more is to come. As an amateur radio operator and communications engineer, I have designed and built a number of dispatch centers and mobile command posts. This project will not be my first, but I hope it will be my best. Anna is a wonderful bus to drive, and I enjoy every moment I spend behind her wheel. I plan to spend MANY such moments now and in the future. We are located in the NE corner of California, about 4 hrs. north of Reno, NV. Best to all, and feel free to be in touch.

I waited almost 6 decades for this one...And I'm so pleased with her. Just came out of service, and I drove her sister buses (one of which is headed for NY in the near future) when they were new 35 years ago. She's a gem and I consider us very fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time to give her a new home and new beginnings as well. Cheers!
