Heard about this site from another
Hello I'm Noobie! ... was hanging over on another forum when a member (doctressjulia) mentioned this forum. I have no idea if her name is the same here but ty.
I am specificly looking for used mini buses and designs that fall under $3000 for just the bus but preferably $1200 - $1500 as most of my money is tied up in moving from France back to America and no special liscense required.

Good luck finding any bus under $2000 ... in functional condition. There might be an odd one or two, but most buses that cheap are likely to need a lot of work to get going again. Oddly enough, the minibuses and full size ones ... in similar conditions ... seem to auction for about the same money.
That said, I snagged mine for $3500, with owner financing (my company does a lot of business with his and we've been dealing with each other for 7 years, so he knows me). It's not without minor problems, but it runs and drives and stops, so all the major systems are in working order. Mostly I've been fixing the lights, parking brake, fuel return lines, removing lettering, and the exhaust will need some work.

My bus was $2150 out the door in southern KY. Last one I bid on was a SWEET 5 speed manual shorty with a 466 in beautiful shape and it went for $1700.
Seems like the Kentucky to Virginia area has good cheap buses.
Locally in FL the buses go for 5-15 grand due to all the exporters.
