Cool Hello all! Sorry for the wait!

So i bought a bus, in January lol. Its a 2001 Bluebird AARE. 84 Passenger, with Cummins ISB, Allison Tranny, Thomas Frame, and Bluebird Body. Picked it up for $3500, advertised as ~60k miles, thought it was a steal.

Found out real quick, once work had begun, that its a rust bucket. But its my rust bucket now haha. It was in service around the northern-indiana/michigan state line. So, weathered it is.. Also, I found a handwritten service record, revealing the speedometer/odometer was changed around 56k miles, so its really closer to ~120k actual miles...lol

But, that didn't discourage. Been spending most of my free time workin on it these past 10 months. I finally sat down and uploaded most of my pictures tonight; pics of my work from purchase to today.

I gotta say this has been a great learning experience, and extremely fun so far! Still a long road ahead, but, I bought my paint today! Went with Rustoleum Professional. White for top, grey for sides. Gonna roll/brush it on, fingers crossed ha. Just gotta get rid of this yellow...

But again, hello all! This place has been a wealth of knowledge for me and my project, so thanks as well!

Hahahaha! That's exactly how I feel lol. She's mine now and we're going the distance together [emoji2] [emoji106]
And I think you're gonna like the gray because I have one side done in gray primer and it looks nice. Makes me wonder if I should go gray and maybe add some Navy blue or something. I still haven't decided though.
Welcome! And we definitely want to see some pics of your progress [emoji2]
