Hello! Another bus on the road.

Hi! Mike from beautiful British Columbia here. I just registered on the site. I discovered it while googleing how to lock the front door on a school bus. Awesome site!
Honestly, I'll be on here sporadically. I'll try to contribute when I can.
My project consists of a 94 full size school bus that I'm converting into a toy hauler motor home. It has 12 1/2 feet of garage space that turns into the sleeping quarters for myself, the woman, and our 4 kids. I've been posting progress pics under the name "Chopper the magic bus" on Facebook. Feel free to check it out.
And a big Thanx to those that do help and contribute their ideas and plans on this site! Awesome work!

Welcome! Whats with the west coast? We on east seem to be outnumbered.
I locked my door with a linear actuator that is mounted upside down. It pushes its own post into the track area just behind the door's upper bearing post when the door is closed. This is controlled by a key-fob controller. Check my thread. It works great.
