Hello fellow Travellers

So I took the plunge about a month ago. I picked up a 1999 Freightliner FS 65. It has 18000 original miles. Has the 7.2 Cat 3126 E. Minus a few spots, it is in fantastic shape. Just got it back from the shop. Had a tune up, and a few things fixed. So far the floor is out, the walls are off, and the ceiling is off. Took about two weeks. Did some water proofing on the roof this week. And plan to paint the roof today. I'm a decent planner and have an idea of what I want to do with the whole thing. Gonna be a lot of work. However, I have all the time in the world. So, I will be picking everyone's brains over the next two months. If I can't find it via the search bar of course. Also, I am in the Tampa area, anyone in my neck of the swamp? Pics to follow. Thanks everyone!

John

Welcome.

I'm in Winter haven, that's near lakeland.
Also, there is a Florida gathering coming up in 2 weeks.
Looking forward to your pics.

Some pics of the Bus.

Some pics. Inside is just about ready for construction. I'm excited!
