Hello fine schoolies

Hi there,

Purchasing my first bus on Saturday - 2002 Ford e450 short bus. This is a bit of an impulse buy, and I'm hoping I have made a good choice. I'm ready to ditch late-stage capitalism and live what life I've got left...

The bus already been converted, to some degree, but I am planning on gutting it and building a mobile recording studio and living space. It was a former department of corrections vehicle.

I have no idea where to get started, but I'm trying to find examples of raising the roof on a short bus / shuttle. I seem to be able to find plenty of examples for school buses, but I'm starting to worry it won't be possible on a short bus. I'm a hair over 6 ft, and can just barely stand up straight (with boots on) in the center. A few more inches would be a god send (there's about 1.5 inches of flooring that I may be able to figure out a different solution for if need be...)

Done rambling for now - seems to be such an awesome culture around schoolies, has restored my faith in people after being generally bummed out by the world of Sprinters...

See you (eventually) on the road!
