Hello from Conroe Texas!
Hello all, new here to the forums, just acquired a 2006 bluebird all American diesel pusher with the cat c7 and Allison pts2500. It's a 40' decommissioned prisoner transport from maricopa county sheriff department in AZ. Going to transform the inside into a home on wheels but probably leave her looking a bit menacing on the outside lol.
Just want to say thanks to all the people here that have made this site a wealth of information and a fun place to be!

We really need to have a Houston area meet up or something. Maybe we can all get together for a BBQ or something?

At best I have Saturdays off sometimes. However, this month seems like I'm getting booked up on Saturdays........

Took her home today! It's a real head turner lol. Drove about 15 miles from the unloading area to home, did 55 smooth as butter the whole way. Tear down starts Saturday!
I would love to do a meet with some local skoolies sometime

Very cool! I hope you got a deal on it, the prisoner transport vehicles I find are always expensive. If you don't mind my asking what did you do for licensing and registration to drive it home?
Have fun!
