Hello from Hollywood

Love this forum. I'm currently lurking, dreaming, and planning. I once lived a lighter life in the '80s, in a VW conversion van, and I'm slowly talking my husband into the idea of a schoolie. We just have so much stuff...

Anyway, pleased to be here!

Welcome to the group, Maidel!! We are not quite a month into our build (well, mostly demo right now). There's lots of good info on here - and I'm sure hubby will come around soon. Look forward to sharing in your schoolie adventures.

Welcome! I hope you are planning on leaving Hollywood with your bus. I have read that parking one in LA is very difficult except for one area underneath the LAX flight path near the airport. Well, if you want to live in it, which is what it sounds like.

2martins, For sure! Even building out the bus would require finding or renting space. We have a yard; it's just *super* steep. We'd have to build something like a $50,000 retaining wall to get a parking space. Lol.
