Hello from Indiana

Been posting for a few days, I suppose I should do introduce myself to everyone. My name is Travis, this will be our first bus project. I did 6 years active duty, got out and went to school and worked for a few years doing different things. Now I'm a union electrician (apprentice) and looking forward to sharing and learning.

Our bus is an '88 Chevy with the 8.2L Detroit turd. She'll make do for now though. It's very low mileage and in excellent shape mechanically.

Just so you're aware... Indiana is the RV surplus capital of the world. You should be able to find lots of stuff to help you along. Welcome!

Search for RV surplus Indiana. About 30 places pop up. Elkhart seems to have a few centralized.

Haha. I didn't see that when I posted. I was in Elkhart the day I picked up my bus. There were about 40 haul away driver's picking up RV's at the train station.

Here's a link to a map and list of the RV surplus sights that I know of.

RV Surplus stores

If anyone knows of any more in any part of the country send me the info and I'll add it.
