Hello from Los Angeles!
Hey there! My name is Jared, I currently live in Los Angeles. My girlfriend and I have gotten really tired of the rat race so we're looking to move out of the big city and build a skoolie so we can enjoy life rent-free.
I taught myself woodworking a year ago after having never used a power tool in my life, so doing a build is going to be a fun challenge. For work I make websites and create art for videogames, so I plan to work remotely once we have a skoolie built. I'm more interested in a stationary skoolie that we can pick up and move very rarely, especially if we're able to find a piece of land to own.
I also grow my own food with hydroponics and aquaponics as well as breed exotic reptiles and insects. Right now I'm building savings to achieve our dream, and we want to take the build slow once we acquire a bus. I'd say 2 years would be my goal.
