Hello from NJ

Newbie here from central NJ. Been doing a lot of research but my plans to buy a bus are on hold until I can find a place to park it while I convert it or finish the conversion (depending on the state it is in when I purchase it).

Five year plan is FI/RE and on the open road!

Welcome! If you click on User CP in the upper left corner you can fill out your details and then people here will know where you are and what kind of bus you have (once you get one).

I'm in Philly and one nice thing about this general area is that there are a lot of places in decrepit, run-down industrial areas that will be happy to take a hundred or two hundred bucks from you every month and let you park and work on your bus. If you're lucky they won't even care about you having a valid registration and insurance.

I don't know where exactly in Jersey you are, but if you're lucky you're in range of Glassboro. Fazzio's there is a great place for getting metal and all sorts of supplies like welding equipment, paint, bolts etc. I've rebuilt a major chunk of my bus, mostly with scrap metal from Fazzio's for $0.50 a pound.
