Hello from St. Petersburg FL

Hello to everyone on Skoolie. I have been creeping around you site for a few months. There is such a wealth of information on here, it's great. I had thought I might want a bus, but after looking on here, I got to get one! Sweet talked the wife and she said we could start looking. We agreed to a 5500.00 budget on the bus itself. I have learned from you guys to look for the dt466, sounds like a good motor. I like the conventional style body, and have a sketch up model of the interior.might put a small deck on back for bbq and gas cylinders. And a roof rack. thought of a good idea, I think, for the passenger seat, I will put a mount just to the left of the stairs as you enter, with a swivel and extension arm, so I could either rotate and lock it in a passenger seat orintation, or pivot it back to the breakfast nook and pin it in place.well got to go, son stopped by, and sorry for run on paragraph , may be a little Giddy. Thanks for all the ideas, Richard.

Welcome!

Welcome!
Gosh it is such a great reminder to read these welcomes.
I am a bit afraid to take the step, but when i read the warm welcomes and feel the support of the people i am encouraged too.

I am excited for your both. Maybe we'll cross paths one day
